We discovered Costa Rica for ourselves in 1996.
We have been back five times since. The country is beautiful and diverse and the
people are honest and earnest. There is an openness among the Costa Ricians towards
their guests. They are striving for economic growth, the common good for their
citizens, and they are for-runners in Eco-tourism. Capitan Suizo is one of our
favorite places in Costa Rica. It is a small, beautiful hotel in Tamarindo, on
the North Pacific Coast. It has a lagoon pool (picture #1 B & 2 A) and a lovely
wide beach. Walk to the village for terrific food and some shopping. The rooms
are very comfortable and pretty, the food is good, the garden is enchanting and
the people wonderful. A perfect place to relax yet experience a fascinating and
friendly culture. |

| For
that special experience in Costa Rica, Villa Catetas, near Jaco Beach, is the
place to be. This magnificent villa with individual and elegant "casitas
"sit on a mountain side with perhaps the best views of the Pacific Ocean
in the world. Views from every vantage point will leave you breathless. The "
horizon pool" (picture #3 B) looks like it drops into the Pacific Ocean (see
picture 3 B). There is a shuttle down the mountain to their own beach (picture
#4 B). The Greek Amphitheater makes you think that you are part of a different
era. Elegance, simplicity and tranquility. |

The shuttle Bus brings you down a mountain road and picks you up. The ride is
beautiful with magnificent panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Villa

and wide beach at Tamarindo, warm water, gentle waves and virtually never crowded.
The town is only a 5 minute walk down the beach from Capital Suizo. |

At sunset in Playa Tamorindo if it is low tide
you can walk to a remote beach and gaze at the sunset. |
