History and gardens best describe the experience that you will have at this lovely B&B. This building is over 200 years old and was floated to Harwich over 150 years ago from Nantucket. It was once a stage coach stop as well as the post office. Lovingly restored it is romantic with an abundance of history and warmth. There are two rooms furnished with antiques and collections from the owner's vast worldly travels. Room #1 has a queen bed, private entrance directly from the semi private patio, A/C, TV, phone & internet connection and private bathroom with tub and shower. On the 2nd floor room # 2. This double bedroom has a semi private entrance, A/C, TV, phone & internet connection , a writing area and private bathroom with tub and shower. Room #2 can accommodate one extra person. For their guests there is also a Butler's Kitchen with refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster oven and coffee maker.There is a lovely guest living with TV/VCR and fireplace. Continental breakfast is served. Enjoy the solitude of the garden and topiary filled patio or watch the world go by on the front porch. Distance to Nantucket Sound Beach 1.5 m., distance to Harwichport 2 m., distance to bike trail 1.5 m. Walk to restaurants and shops. Pet friendly.
