This Inn on Pleasant Bay is perfect for that Cape Cod experience. Located half way between the picturesque villages of Orleans and Chatham, water views of Pleasant Bay and the Outer Beach and a patio that also over looks a cranberry bog is what defines Cape Cod. The main house was built in 1798. Snuggle up by the fireplace in the comfortable lounge on a cool night all the while watching the boats sail by. There are four rooms all with private bathrooms with showers and AC in the Main House, two with a private entrance, one with private deck and one with a private patio. The Bay rooms, on the side of the main house have a choice of rooms with 2 double beds or a queen bed, some have views of Pleasant Bay and all have private bathrooms with a shower and private entrances. The former Carriage House has been restored into two new rooms one a queen and one a king, both with cathedral ceilings, semi private entrance, private baths with showers and one room has a fireplace. The grounds are lovely and laden with flowers, three patios for perfect outdoor relaxation. Across the street there is a private dock and a small private beach on Pleasant Bay with warm water swimming. The hosts provide beach chairs, towels and coolers. For an extra cost a fisherman will pick you up at the dock and take you fishing.This Inn is a "TV free" environment. This is Cape Cod! European style breakfast buffet daily. Walk to beach on Pleasant Bay. Distance to town, Orleans, 4 miles. Distance to Chatham 5 miles. Distance to Nauset Beach (Ocean) 5 miles, distance to Skaket Beach 6 miles (Ocean, Cape Cod Bay). Distance to bike trails 4 miles.
